Durable, great utility, and then easy to store.

This has great utility. So if it’s a case of taking something apart, or putting it together again, I am always, always loosing or “misplacing” parts, screws, bolts, washers, etc etc, so this is exactly what I needed. So I love the amount of separate spaces, for the various inevitable stages of dismantling an item that this provides is great, because it’s not just a space, its “ordered”, “counted”, separation, which is no end of help for me so I don’t have to keep referencing online schematics/drawings, to decide which set of screws fits the next stage of any given job, because I do often loose track. Now the fact that this also offers “Magnetic” areas, “Lidded” areas, and just a nice “Slightly raised” working area, is great. For me its not just the manner of space, but also the layout of spaces, that is useful, because on a couple of occasions now, I have been able to “work round the mat”, as if following a clock face round, the parts I needed to remove and hold, just perfectly went into the locations provided, meaning I could just easily work in reverse to put the items back together, in sequence without thinking about it. Also one of those prior mentioned times of use, I was able to leave the job half done until he next day, and then not have to waste any time when restarting, because I knew exactly which bay to go to, and the order of everything else, because it followed round.Something I like in particular, is the fact that at the end of any given task, I can roll the mat up, to store, and I personally use the rather handy, decently sturdy tube that it came in for that purpose, which was an unexpected bonus to my mind. It means that I don’t have to worry when storing it that it will get dirty in my workshop and then require cleaning thoroughly before the next use.I have only soldered twice using the mat, but at no point did I notice any “heat retention”, or warping of the mat, I also haven’t experienced any static from the mat whilst using it.All in all, in my opinion, this is a well made, good quality, durable, space, that has, and will, help me stay organised and on track, when repairing/making, items. Which ultimately saves me time, and stops the frustration of the “missing screw” phenomenon, that I all too often suffer.Very happy with it.

Amazing matt-organiser

The only one thing I would like to improve in it- to put some magnetic plates in it to keep all bolts in a same space.Easy to use, easy to clean - recommended

Works as it should!

I've been using this to make repairs on various hand held consoles, no issues with static so assuming it is working well. The little sections around the edge are ideal for keeping the small screws separated but safe whilst repairs are made.
